Where oh where do I start with Schillers? The L.E.S. (that's lower east side for you folk) has so many places in it's hood but Schillers is an all-rounder. Brunch, lunch then come back for some punch - it's good any time of the day and if you are staying in the area it will most probably become your local hang out.

Schillers splits all it's menus into three - the Cheap, the Decent and the Good. That's not to say the cheap stuff is nasty. It's just depending on how many days you find yourself away from pay day or the current exchange rate. Makes the decision process a little easier. But at $9 a glass for the 'good' stuff (God bless America) - it's almost rude to be a cheap drunk here.
Brunch is American standard and more. It's one of the most extensive menus I've experienced (they really do need a recovery bench outside the bar). Waffles with berries, eggs benedict, french toast, salmon, salads ... you're covered whatever side of the diet spectrum you find yourself on.

At lunch you better be getting down with burger and co. They gots veggie, tuna, cheese, chicken and old man cow. Not to mention a croque madame the size of France.

Come punch time, look out for the specials. Despite the grime of NYC, it can offer some pretty mean fish. There's the obligatory mac & cheese and grilled trout. They even have vegan options too. Told you, it's an all-rounder.
Shout-out to the barmanwho makes an AWESOME White Mocha Martini. You'll want to either start or end with that. It's a sweet caffeinated wonder. And definitey leave some room for the sweet edible stuff. Key lime pie, bananan split or sticky toffee pudding are my bets.

You know me and my bathrooms. A good bathroom says the whole place has attention to detail. Well, Schillers has a pretty rad bathroom. Great for Instagrammers united.

Good for pre-drinks or pre-grub before a nasty night out. It's so good though you may never leave ...
